Blueprint

Behind the Build

I first experienced the vision for this project during a time of deep reflection at a retreat in Joshua Tree, California. In a space that felt both safe and spiritually guided, I was led into a vivid sense of place—open, peaceful land in the Northern Arizona region, reminiscent of the Hopi, Zuni, and Apache landscapes. I saw acres of gently sloping terrain, abundant with possibility, grounded by access to water and framed by the beauty of distant mountains.

From that moment, this project has been guided by intention. The design draws inspiration from principles found in nature—proportion, balance, and harmony—often referred to as sacred geometry. Every aspect of the structure, from its shape and dimensions to its orientation, has been thoughtfully considered to create a space that feels aligned, open, and restorative.

The goal is to create an environment where healing can be felt in every room—from the highest point of the structure down to the entry at ground level. The design reflects timeless concepts used throughout history, rooted in the belief that the spaces we inhabit can influence how we feel, grow, and heal.

At the core of this vision is a simple but powerful belief: healing energy surrounds us at all times, and it is available to anyone who seeks it. This belief is central to everything we are building. It is something I feel deeply called to share—with those who discover us through this work, through community, or through something greater than ourselves.

Our Land
A Foundation for Hope

The land chosen for My Mother’s Arms is more than a physical location—it is the foundation of everything we are building. From the beginning, we believed that where this work takes place matters just as much as what is built upon it.

This space was selected with intention—offering openness, peace, and the opportunity for renewal. It is a place removed from chaos, where individuals and families can find a sense of calm, stability, and connection. The natural surroundings provide room to breathe, reflect, and begin again.

We see this land as a place of restoration. A place where healing can take root and grow. Every step taken here is part of a larger journey—one that moves from hardship toward hope, from uncertainty toward purpose.

At its core, this land represents possibility. It holds the vision of a safe haven where people are not only supported, but truly seen, valued, and given the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

For those who feel drawn to this mission, this land is being prepared with care and intention—ready to welcome all who seek a path forward.

First Floor

At My Mother’s Arms™, the first floor has been designed with both functionality and comfort in mind, creating a warm, secure environment for residents. Every room supports our mission of providing safety, dignity, and community.

The Great Room serves as the heart of the home—a spacious, light-filled area perfect for gathering, relaxing, and connecting. Whether it’s sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying a moment of peace, this is where community thrives.

The Open Kitchen is designed for shared meals and conversation. With generous counter space and modern appliances, residents can cook together, learn new recipes, and enjoy the therapeutic comfort of preparing food as a family.

The circular/octagonal layout of the building ensures that every room is connected while still maintaining privacy and quiet. Natural light and open sightlines encourage both safety and a sense of togetherness.

At My Mother’s Arms™, every wall, doorway, and room has been carefully planned to support the well-being, safety, and growth of those we serve. The first floor sets the tone—a space of comfort, community, and compassion.

Second Floor

The second floor of My Mother’s Arms is designed as a place of rest, reflection, and personal renewal. While the first floor fosters connection and community, this level offers a quieter, more private environment where individuals can begin to restore a sense of peace within themselves.

This space is intentionally designed to provide comfort, dignity, and a feeling of security. Private and semi-private areas allow for rest and reflection, while maintaining a sense of connection to the greater home. Every detail supports the need for both solitude and stability—essential elements in the healing process.

The layout encourages a natural transition from the shared energy of the home below to a more calm and restorative atmosphere above. Here, individuals can step away, recharge, and process their journey in a safe and supportive setting.

The second floor represents growth—moving beyond immediate stability toward deeper healing. It is a place where hope becomes more personal, and where each individual can begin to rediscover strength, clarity, and a renewed sense of self.

Elevation

The vision for My Mother’s Arms began not just as a building, but as a calling—a belief that healing is always present, surrounding us, and available to all who seek it. These elevation blueprints represent more than architectural drawings; they are a reflection of that deeper purpose.

Each line and dimension has been thoughtfully designed to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and restorative. Inspired by the natural balance and harmony found in the world around us, the structure reflects intentional proportions, light, and openness—elements that foster peace, stability, and renewal.

From the highest point of the roofline to the entry at ground level, the design emphasizes flow, connection, and a sense of calm. It is meant to be a place where individuals and families can step out of chaos and into a space that supports healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

At its core, this project is built on the belief that healing energy exists all around us. My Mother’s Arms is designed to help people reconnect with that truth—to provide not just shelter, but a foundation for transformation and hope.
